Ordering & Payment

Are you Halal-certified?

Yes! We’re proudly MUIS Halal Certified.

Is there a minimum spend?

Yes — minimum order is 5 bentos per flavour.

How far in advance should I order?

Plan ahead, eat better — place your order at least 52 hrs in advance and we’ll have it ready, fresh and on time.

Do you do same-day delivery?

Normally, no. But we can try on a case-by-case basis. WhatsApp us at 9640 6345 and we’ll see what’s possible.

Why not same-day delivery?

We source and prep our ingredients fresh each day, so we need a little extra time to make sure your bento is at its best.

Can I place bulk orders online?

Going big? We've got you.

For orders above $2,000, email hello@thebentofactory.sg or WhatsApp for a little extra help with planning your order.

What payment methods do you take?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.

Are your prices inclusive of GST?

All prices listed on our website are before GST. The applicable GST will be calculated and reflected at checkout.

Do I need to create an account to order?

Yes, it helps you checkout faster next time and see your past orders in one click.

Do you have a restaurant or dine-in space?

Not at the moment. We focus on delivery and self-collection.

Delivery & Self

What are your delivery timings?

We deliver daily from 6:00am to 7:00pm.

Need your bentos bright and early? Orders between 6:00am and 9:30am come with a $30 early morning surcharge.

Where do you deliver?

Islandwide, all across Singapore.

What are your delivery charges?

Our standard delivery fee is $50 per trip.

A delivery surcharge applies for certain areas:

  • +$10 for postal codes starting with:
  • 01, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 (Robinson)
  • 03, 17 (Marina Square)
  • 22,23, 24 (Orchard Road)
  • 18, 19 (Bras Basah)
  • 09 (Sentosa Island)

  • +$20 for postal codes starting with 62, 63 (Tuas & Jurong Island)

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes! Orders above $380 per transaction (before GST) will enjoy free delivery. However, location surcharges and early morning surcharges will still apply.

What if I’m not around when my order arrives?

Please have someone ready to receive it. If no one’s home, our driver will leave it at your doorstep. No refunds for missed deliveries.

Can I do self-collection?

Yes, self-collection is available at our central kitchen located at 3017 Bedok North Street 5, #01-26, Gourmet East Kitchen, Singapore 486121.

What are your self-collection hours?

Collection timings are available daily from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please note that an early morning surcharge of S$30 applies for collection timings between 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

Do you provide cutlery?

Yes, we’ve got you covered — disposable eco-friendly cutlery and napkins are included unless otherwise specified.

Order Issues &

Changes

How will I know my order went through?

You’ll get a confirmation email right after placing your order. (Check your spam/junk folder if it’s not in your inbox.)

What if something’s missing from my order?

WhatsApp us at 9640 6345 with your order number and we’ll sort it out.

Can I cancel or postpone my orders?

We get it — plans change. Here’s how it works:

Kindly drop us an email at hello@thebentofactory.sg at least 5 working days before your delivery date.

(Cut-off time is 5:00 PM — anything after will be counted as the next working day.)

Cancellation and postponement fees are calculated based on the invoice amount.

For cancellations:

  • 5 or more working days’ notice: 25% cancellation fee + $50 admin fee
  • 2–4 working days’ notice: 50% cancellation fee + $50 admin fee
  • 2 working days’ notice: 90% cancellation fee + $50 admin fee
  • Less than 1 working day’s notice: 100% cancellation fee + $50 admin fee

For postponements:

  • 5 or more working days’ notice: 5% postponement fee + $50 admin fee
  • 2–4 working days’ notice: 30% postponement fee + $50 admin fee
  • Less than 2 working days’ notice: Not permitted

Festive periods:

Orders scheduled within 7 days before or after Christmas (25 Dec 2026) or CNY (6 Feb 2027) cannot be cancelled or postponed once confirmed.
